Crete is a famous destination for weddings οn sandy beaches, traditional villages and beautiful wineries. But it has equally beautiful and picturesque chapels, by the sea for all those who want to give their wedding the Greek or religious element.
One of these chapels is that of Saint Nicholas in Georgioupolis. One of the most photographed landmarks in this part of Crete, the small Church is the sparkling gem of Georgioupolis. It is, in fact, a whitewashed chapel, built on a small rocky islet and not so easily accessible on foot.
This chapel was chosen by Oana and Alex, a beautiful couple from Romania who travelled to Crete, to make their wedding dream, become a reality.
